3. Open Smartfish Filters and review the default WooCommerce set.

= Is a license required for the free plugin? =

No. Free filtering has no time limit and does not contact a license server.

= Does the plugin change product data? =

No. It reads existing WooCommerce categories, attributes, prices and stock data.

= Does the free plugin contact external services? =

No. It only contains optional links to Smartfish documentation and the PRO product page. An external request occurs only when an administrator chooses to open one of those links.

= What data does the plugin store? =

Filter-set settings are stored as a private WordPress custom post type and post meta. The plugin does not store visitor search or filter activity.

= What happens if I later install PRO? =

Existing Free filter settings remain in WordPress and are available to the PRO package.
